#29. July 8th, 2024 (Hearing): The court set a hearing date of November 18th.

On December 2nd, 2018, at the Shell petrol station in Changamwe, within Mombasa County the accused were jointly found with four pieces of elephant tusks weighing 8.72 kg.

#27. February 13th, 2023 (Hearing): Today’s hearing scheduled for court 8, that of SRM David O. Odhiambo, did not take place as the Hon. magistrate was on leave. Two KWS witnesses were in attendance as was the ivory exhibits. The matter was adjourned for next hearing on March 14th, 2024.

#26. October 25th, 2023 (Hearing): The hearing did not happen as the accused’ lawyer was unwell. The three (3) suspects and two (2) witnesses were present.  KWS had brought the ivory exhibits to court.  A new court date has been set for February 13th, 2024.

#24. June 13th, 2023 (Hearing) The matter was adjourned to July 10th, 2023. SEEJ-AFRICA first became aware of this file on this date. This case has been in court on 24 occasions since date of plea on December 3rd, 2018.
