Mara Area – Mara Elephant Project intel leads to KWS arrest of two men with 23 kg ivory

SEEJ-AFRICA:

• October 4th, 2022, KWS with intel from the Mara Elephant Project (MEP) arrested two men with 23 kg comprised of seven pieces of ivory.
• The two accused were transporting 13 pieces of tusks in the trunk of their car near the TZ border.
