Accused Will Remain in Custody for Bail Ruling Application on Tuesday

In Summary
•During their arrest, they were found with Sh2.1 million in one thousand notes denominations that were fake.
•They were also found with 1000 dollars U.S in one hundred denominations which detectives believed were fake.
Two suspected poachers were on Monday charged with possessing two Rhino horns approximated to be Sh2millon.
Abdikadir Mohamed and Kowsar Salah were charged before Kibera senior resident magistrate Charles Mwaniki where they denied the charges.
During their arrest, they were found with Sh2.1 million in one thousand notes denominations that were fake. They were also found with 1000 dollars U.S in one hundred denominations which detectives believed were fake.
The duo were charged with other counts of dealing in wildlife trophies, being in possession of papers intended to resemble and pass as currency notes contrary to the law.
The two committed the offence on September 26 in Eastleigh.
They denied the charges but were not released on bond. The magistrate directed the matter to be mentioned on Tuesday for bail ruling application.
